Rising lke a Phoenix from the hot streets
of Arizona, legendary rockers Arsinal
were created! This group has a cult following today of hard rock fans,
still thirsting for the sound of gothic in your face heavy metal!
In the early 1990's with Metallica
and Megadeth manipulating the
rock charts, a new "battleready metal" sound was created by five
classically trained musicians in Glendale, AZ. Arsinal consisted of Bobcat on vocals, Del Sheridan on lead guitar, John Remesnik rythym guitar, bassist
Dave Pevler,
and Dusty Hetman on drums.
Group leader Del Sheridan took his metal posse on the road, and found
an incredible following. So in 1993, Del Sheridan, and Steven Carlyle of Glad Dog Records took the group to Capitol Records studios in
Hollywood, producing the classic metal release Fist In Your Face. Hard rock
fixture Loud Magazine praised
the band on their initial project.
Arsinal's
debut release quickly sold
records, and got its break on local Phoenix radio outlets KUPD, and KZRX. The band became regular guests
at the KZRX studios, and
befriended the station's Program Director Guy "G-ster" Giuliano. Glad Dog
Records hired Giuliano to consult the label, with the idea of
getting national airplay for the record. By the summer of 1993, the
first single, and title track Fist In
Your Face was a national hit, breaking the top 20 rock charts. The albums
record sales skyrocketed, as Arsinal's
sound was
spreading across the United States, backed by a
national tour. Arsinal opened for some of the largest rock acts of the
mid 90's, and headlined many concert events. Arsinal celebrated the
release of their second single Hell
or High Water, with a huge bash at the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas,
bringing in hundreds of die-hard headbangers. Local Vegas radio
stations were bombarded with record breaking requests
that night! After a few
whirlwind years, Arsinal
returned to the studio in 1996 to produce their second release Skeleton Crew. Though enjoying
limited airplay, and softer record sales, the follow-up release never
matched the success of their debut effort. Arsinal disbanded by the
late 1990's, and regrouped to create a limited edition release for a
short time.
With
the creation of the Internet, and the magic of mp3 downloads, Arsinal
has found a new generation of rockers embracing their metal music
efforts. The rare original copies of Fist
In Your Face cd, are traded
and sold at incredible prices, as Arsinal downloads continue to be
